2. Does my child need football experience to join?

We currently accept players aged 7–14 years old. This age range allows us to focus on building a strong technical and tactical foundation during the most important development years.  We can make exceptions for younger or older players, and this will be decided individually based on skill level, maturity, and readiness.

4. What makes GCU Skills different from other academies?

All sessions are led by Coach Dennis Amato, former Head Coach in Thai League 1 & 2 with over 9 years of professional coaching experience in Thailand, including a T2 Championship. He is also the former Director of STB Academy (now Thailand’s #1 academy), an associate of FC Bayern Munich, and creator of the FC Bayern 12-Level Kurs. He is supported by qualified Thai coaches.

8. Do you offer goalkeeper training?

9. Why is there only 2 training sessions per week?

9. Why is there only 2 training sessions per week?

Our philosophy is to focus on quality over quantity. Two high-quality sessions per week give young players time to absorb and apply what they learn without the risk of burnout. We also believe that, at a fundamental development age, it’s important for children to have time to enjoy other sports such as swimming, tennis, or athletics — all of which contribute to better overall coordination, fitness, and mindset for football.

10. Can my child try a session before committing?

12. Do you participate in matches or tournaments?

Currently, we do not participate in official competitions. Our focus is entirely on developing players’ technical skills, game understanding, and confidence without the pressure of results or league standings. We believe that, especially in the early stages, building a strong foundation is more important than chasing short-term wins.
